According to reports, a headmaster from Kolkata high school reportedly stopped a minor wedding and prevented a class X girl from getting married. However, the headmaster claimed that this is the fifth marriage he had stopped in this year. He also said that “every girl who was being married off were students of my school”. Notably, he is conducting awareness campaigns to stop child marriage.
