REPORTS CLAIM SUSHANT SINGH TRANSFERRED LAKHS TO GIRLFRIEND RHEA: SUSHANT’S CA REVEALS COMPLETE BREAKUP OF EXPENSES

On Thursday, claims were made that there were large sums of money transferred to Actor Rhea Chakraborty’s account from Late Actor Sushant Singh’s account. These claims were made shortly after Rhea was charged with several acquisitions including abetment to suicide.

However, India Today released an exclusive report where Sushant’s Charted Accountant had clarified on several acquisitions. He has revealed that he had been working with the late actor for over a year that no transactions over a lakh were made to Rhea or her family members.

"No major transfer except a few thousand to Rheas account. Once Rheas mother has transferred him 33,000. He was a film star so he had to maintain his lifestyle and expenses. They both travelled together and he lived as per his wish."

He added, "He would spend on shopping and further expenses like rent and other things like travel which they travelled together .His net worth was not that much as is being claimed. His income had dropped from the last one year.”

India Today also revealed a complete break-up of his expenditures.

2.78 Crore from January 2019 to June 2020 GST

Rs.60 lakh rent

Rs.3.87 lakh to estate agent

Rs.4.87 lakh for expenditure while they travelled together
