CBI PROBE: SUSHANT SINGH’S FAMILY ALLEGES ‘MURDER’ NOT ABETMENT TO ‘SUICIDE’ – DETAILS
Home > News Shots > IndiaLate actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s family had previously accused Rhea Chakraborty and five others of ‘abetment to suicide’. However, now in their statement to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) the family has alleged ‘murder’.
The recent investigations which are being reported by the media, including the statements of the ambulance driver and others, have paved way to solving the mystery by looking into it as a murder. Hence, Sushant’s father KK Singh and his sister have asked the CBI to look into it as a murder.
Times of India reported that the CBI recorded this statement from the late actor’s family on Monday and that the CBI will be going over the statements previously recorded by the Bihar police.
Following this, the CBI has registered an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, Sandhya Chakraborty, Indrajit Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Shruti Modi, and Samuel Miranda.
Meanwhile, actor Rhea Chakraborty has filed in a plea seeking protection from an alleged unfair media trial against her in connection to the death of Sushant Singh.
"The petitioner (Rhea Chakraborty) is already convicted by media even before a fowl-play in the death of Sushant Singh Rajput is established. Extreme trauma and infringement of privacy of the rights of the petitioner is caused due to constant sensationalisation of this case," the affidavit read.
