Doctor cum political analyst Sumanth C Raman, in an exclusive interview with Behindwoods, raised questions surrounding the mysterious conditions of Sridevi’s death. While the department of public health in Dubai issued the forensic report, it’s usually the forensic medicine department that issues the report, said Raman, adding that it needs to be investigated if this is usual in Dubai or for this particular case. Noting that the forensic report called it ‘accidental drowning’, Raman explained that it’s the police department that has to investigate whether the drowning was accidental or not. Further,some reports claimed that the family informed the paramedics about Sridevi around 9.00 pm in Dubai, while she was found unconscious around 6.30 pm. Raman questioned why there was a gap of nearly 2.5 hours to inform the paramedics. Further, reacting to reports that she was unconscious when she drowned, he added that it needs to be investigated as to why she was unconscious.
