SUBRAMANIAN SWAMY TAUNTS SHASHI THAROOR ABOUT 'OVERSEAS GIRLFRIENDS'

After Congress leader Shashi Tharoor who has been named as an accused in the death of his former spouse Sunanda Pushkar, was directed not to travel abroad without the court's permission, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy taunted the former and said Tharoor can't go meet "all his girlfriends in various parts of the world", quotes ANI.

"[H]e can sit with Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, they are also bail-wallas," he added.

Incidentally, Tharoor has been granted anticipatory bail in the case. On his part, the Congress leader has rebuffed charges of him abetting suicide and called the same "preposterous".
