A school in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala had suspended two students after they were found hugging for an ‘inappropriately long’ time. This move was met with widespread condemnation as the suspension would prevent the students from writing their board exams. The school has now reportedly reached out to the students and have asked the parents to attend a meeting on January 3 and has said in a letter to the parents that the school has decided to have a “relook” into the issue.
