In a bizarre incident, a 25-year-old student and his friend were brutally assaulted by a gang of three, including a shop owner, after a fight broke out over samosas at Bengaluru on Friday.
Mohammed Sultan Ali, a BBM graduate, was returning home with his friend Abbas on Friday. They stopped their car to buy samosas for their families when they were attacked by the shop owner.
Firoz, the owner of the samosa shop, and his friends, Waseem and Imran allegedly got irritated after the students kept insisting on packing 10 censuses to them first while others were already waiting in the shop.
Firoz flew into a fury and started abusing Ali and attacked Ali and his friend. When Ali went to the police station to complain about the incident, they were shocked to find that Firoz had already filed a complaint. An investigation is underway.
