According to reports, a dog injured at least 20 people at Perumbavoor in Ernakulam. The dog also attacked school students who were returning from school. The local residents killed the stray dog since it started attacking even small kids. Notably, Ernakulam dog catchers bring six to eight dogs per day to sterilise.
