In a shocking case, six large pythons were found inside pipes in Odisha. The video of the reptiles that were captured is currently going viral.
This incident took place in Dhenkanal district of Odisha where it shows rescuers capturing the pythons while locals run in shock.
As per India Today reports, the pythons were rescued from a large pipe which was put to release extra quantity of water near Gojapada project embankment. This video was shared by IFS officer Susanta Nanda, who captioned it saying, "Six Pythons recovered from Hume pipe in Dhenkanal district of Odisha. The biggest one was 16 feet in length. All were released in the nearby forests." He even ended his caption with the question, "Can u guess as to how long the Pythons grow?"
He later corrected his caption stating that the longest is 18 feet. The snakes that were captured by the rescue group were- 18 feet, 16 feet, 12 feet, 10 feet, 9 feet and 8 feet long.
Hours after capturing the pythons, the rescuers later released it in a nearby forests. Watch the video below:
