According to reports, Sherin Mathews, who was adopted by US citizens from an orphanage in India, died of "Homicidal Violence". Wesley Mathews, father of Sherin was arrested in October 2017 and has been charged with inflicting injury to a child. He will be serving a life term in prison and his wife was separated from their biological daughter.
