SCHOOL BELT HELPS POLICE FIND MAN WHO SLIT THE THROATS OF 8-YEAR-OLD BOY, MOTHER

The buckle on the school belt of the 8-year-old boy helped police nab the accused who killed the boy and his mother. Reportedly, when police found two decomposed bodies in Delhi, they found that the bodies were of a mother and her 8-year-old son. While investigating, they saw the boy’s school belt which had the school’s name. Police reportedly went to the school and inquired.

“We checked the boy’s admission form for clues. The suspect had pasted his own photo in place of the boy’s real father. Once we had the photograph, we knew whom to trace,” said the DCP.

Babloo Kumar Mondal, 29, who was in an alleged relationship with the woman, had planned the murder days before he slit the throats of the mother-son duo on April 23. “The woman was killed with the same long knife the killer had made her buy days earlier,” said Chinmoy Biswal, deputy commissioner of police (south-east).

The man reportedly murdered them as he suspected the woman of having a relationship with someone else.
