The Supreme Court on Thursday stayed the ban on the Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Padmavat’ paving way for the release of the film on January 25 in all states. Earlier, the governments of Haryana, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand had declared that they will allow the screening of the film. The film producers, on Tuesday, filed a petition before a bench headed by Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra demanding to stay the ban.
