SC quashes states’ review petition to block ‘Padmaavat’

The Supreme Court on Tuesday quashed the review petition filed by Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh against the release of 'Padmaavat' film in their states. Justice DY Chandrachud slammed the states saying, “You create trouble and by virtue of it come to court.” The Deepika Padukone-starrer is scheduled to release across the subcontinent on January 25.
