SBI DISCLOSES AMOUNT RECOVERED FROM VIJAY MALLYA

State Bank of India Managing Director Arijit Basu has said that the 13 Indian banks' consortium has recovered ₹963 crore from the auction of former liquor baron Vijay Mallya's properties held in India.
His statement comes after a London court granted an enforcement order in favour of Indian banks to seize Mallya's assets in the United Kingdom. Basu further said that going forward, they are hopeful of recovering rest of the debt as well.
