BREAKING: SALMAN KHAN CONVICTED IN BLACK BUCK POACHING CASE

Actor Salman Khan was convicted by a Jodhpur court on Thursday in the 1998 black buck poaching case. Others named in the case - Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam - were acquitted.
Salman is convicted under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act 1972 and may face up to six years in jail. In the meantime, his lawyer is reported to have argued for a lesser quantum of punishment.
