The master blaster who was often criticised for his absence in the Parliament had warned in the assembly about the insufficient space in Elphinstone Road for the number to commuters. Sachin Tendulkar, along with Shiv Sena took up this issue of foot over bridge in Elphinstone Road. In answer to his concern, MoS Railways Rajen Gohain reportedly gave an assurance of five new foot over bridges.
