The Travancore Devaswom Board, in a meeting on Wednesday, reportedly decided to retain the old name for the Sabarimala temple. In 2017, the then TDB administration changed the name of the temple to “Sabarimala Sri Aiyappaswami Temple”. However, the administration, that recently took charge has decided to retain its old name which is “Sabarimala Sri Dharmasastha Temple.”
