The Mumbai Police are currently investigating actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case. On Friday, they questioned one of Bollywood’s leading talent managers, Reshma Shetty. Reportedly, she was questioned for around four to five hours. The details of her statement haven't been revealed by the police yet. 

The talent manager has worked with several ‘A listers’ such as Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Alia Bhatt among others. She handles major endorsements undertaken by the actors. She reportedly helped Salman Khan crack many contracts. However, she stopped working for him in 2018. Since 2018, she has been handling actor Akshay Kumar’s work. 

The police have recorded over 35 people so far in connection to Sushant Singh Rajput’s Suicide case. Family members, actors, friends and co- workers have been questioned.

“Other than them, a few journalists working for Bollywood portals have been questioned and the cops sought information on the sources through whom the stories had come in. According to the late actor’s friends, some stories being circulated about him had a negative effect on him and the actor was seemingly upset after reading them. Statements also revealed that Rajput would often feel that someone was trying to target him and destroy his image and career,” India Today cited in its report. 

The police have been probing the case from financial, professional rivalry as well as personal angle in order to find the reasons behind the actor’s extreme decision.  

Sushant Singh Rajput, who is critically acclaimed for his work in the films ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ and ‘Kai Po Che’ among others, was found hanging at his Bandra Residence in Mumbai on June 14.
