The pollution situation in India has reached its threshold. With no checks and measures to counter it, pollutions levels have been rising at rampant rates.
Every year, Delhi turns into a gas chamber around this time. Similarly, Bengaluru's Bellandur lake is infamous for its toxic water. The lake has made headlines as it froths up every now and then.
In an effort to inform people about the seriousness of the issue, actress Rashmika Mandanna decided to do an underwater photoshoot inside the Bellandur lake. Directed by Sanmathi D. Prasad, the shoot was to raise awareness about water pollution.
The actress took to Twitter to explain how she had no idea about the pollution, until she actually visited the lake, and then saw the gravity of the situation.
This was a photoshoot regarding awareness for the water pollution by this wonderful team
