The Supreme Court on Wednesday reportedly dismissed a plea by AG Perarivalan, who was convicted in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, to recall the 1999 verdict upholding the conviction. While Perarivalan alleged that he was convicted by “playing fraud” on the court, the apex court reportedly said it “does not need to interfere with its 1999 verdict upholding conviction.”
