In the Rajasthan bypolls for one State Assembly constituency and two Lok Sabha seats, Congress has won the Mandalgarh Assembly seat beating the BJP by 12,976 votes. Congress’ Karan Singh Yadav clinched the Alwar Lok Sabha seat by defeating his BJP opponent by 1,96,496 votes. The party’s Raghu Sharma won from the Ajmer Lok Sabha constituency by a margin of over 84,000 votes. Notably, the Rajput community had openly announced support for the Congress in all three seats.
