RAILWAYS TO RUN 80 NEW PASSENGER TRAINS; TICKET BOOKING AND OTHER DETAIL HERE

Vinod Kumar Yadav, Chairman Railway Board confirmed the news saying, the reservation for these new trains will begin from September 10. Also, these trains will be in addition to 230 special trains that are already operational. Meanwhile, the trains will be notified later in the day.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, scheduled train service has been suspended in the country since March 25. "Eighty new special trains or 40 pairs of trains will start operations from September 12. Reservations will begin from September 10. This will run in addition to the 230 trains already in operation," Yadav said.
He further added that the Railways will be monitoring all the trains to determine which trains have a long waiting list. "Wherever there is a demand for a particular train, wherever the waiting list is long, we will run a clone train ahead of the actual train, so that passengers can travel," the railway board chairman added.
Further giving details on train schedule, Yadav also said the Railways will run trains whenever there is demand from states for exams or other similar purposes.
Meanwhile, Union Railways Minister Piyush Goyal yesterday said Central Railways of the Indian Railways will run 23 special trains for the convenience of candidates appearing for National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) exams.
Also, these fully-reserved special trains will run on September 4, 5, and 6.
