As the BJP is set to win the Assembly elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, newly-elected Congress president Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter to congratulate the BJP on their victory. While the Congress lost Himachal Pradesh to BJP, it emerged big in Gujarat by winning a grand tally of assembly seats.
The Congress party accepts the verdict of the people and congratulates the new governments in both states. I thank the people of Gujarat and Himachal with all my heart for the love they showed me.
