"QUARREL BETWEEN 2 FAMILIES GO VIRAL": PM MODI SLAMS SOCIAL MEDIA HATRED

Taking cognizance of frivolous news that's making it to national media, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, lamented about the same, while speaking to BJP workers, saying that a petty quarrel between two families is played up on social media, instigating hatred. 

He said that it was high time social media was used responsibly, to promote stories of good will. He said that it pained him when people forwarded things without checking them and also speak of women in an ill-mannered way. 

The Prime Minister stressed that Swachh Bharat was not just about keeping one surrounding's clean but mental purity was required as well.
