MAN FILES FOR DIVORCE AS WIFE REFUSED TO WEAR SAREE AT HOME

A man from Pune reportedly filed a divorce at the court as his wife did not wear a saree at home. The divorce was filed in the Shivajinagar District Court.

Reportedly, the two even have a two-year-old son. The 32-year-old husband is a graduate and works in a private company and his wife is a class 12 pass out. Soon after their marriage, the wife was harassed by the husband and her mother-in-law for wearing a western outfit at home.

The woman, however, demanded that she must at least be given the freedom to wear whatever she felt comfortable at home. Eventually, the woman moved out of the house and later gave birth to a child. However, the husband did not once come to visit his wife or his child. He filed a divorce at the court.

After seeing his son for the first time at court, the husband took back his arguments and agreed to get back together with his wife.
