Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, Kiran Bedi has reportedly directed a new method to traffic police under which video recordings of traffic violators with their vehicle number can be submitted to the court for further action. Reports say, under this method, violators will be identified and contacted through letters or at their respective phone numbers about the case registered against them. 40 incidents of traffic violations in the city have been caught on camera since the method came into effect yesterday.
