The General Election 2019 is a big one and so is the fight for the rule. Every party and politician are trying their bit to garner more supporters for the win. But winning hearts is more important sometimes than winning votes, so was it with, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who took BJP supporters by surprise on Monday when she greeted them while they were chanting pro-Modi slogans during her roadshow in Indore.
In a video that has gone viral, Priyanka Gandhi is seen wearing a maroon saree and sporting a ’tilak’ on her forehead. She stopped her procession mid way and stepped out of her black SUV when a BJP group was shouting, “Modi, Modi” slogans.
According to The Indian Express report, Priyanka Gandhi, shook hands with BJP supporters and said, “Aap apni jagah, main meri jagah. All the best (You are good at your place and I am at mine).” On looking at Priyanka's kind gesture, the BJP supporter replied “Very good” and also wished her luck.
Media reports further state that, polling for the Indore seat, which the BJP has been winning since 1989, is scheduled on May 19 in the fourth and last phase of Lok Sabha polls in Madhya Pradesh.
