According to reports, the price of subsidised cooking gas cylinder per 14.2 kg has been hiked by Rs 4.50 to Rs 495.65 on Thursday. Also, the non-subsidised cooking gas cylinder price has been increased by Rs 93 and is fixed at Rs 742, reports say. The price hike comes into force on Wednesday. Notably, the price hike would affect a population of 18.11 crore people, who are using subsidised cylinders across the country, reports added.
