PRESIDENT SANCTIONS 7 NEW JUDGES FOR MADRAS HC

An additional seven judges have been added to the current cluster of 56 judges serving the Madras High Court on Friday as sanctioned by President Ram Nath Kovind. Currently, Kolkata's Indra Banerjee serves as the chief justice.
Nirmal Kumar, Subramanya Prasad, Anand Venkatesan, Krishnan Ramaswamy, Asha, Saravanan, and Ilandiraiyan will take charge soon.
