A 39-year-old roadside vendor belonging to Kurnool of Andhra Pradesh committed suicide by consuming acid allegedly due to harassment by cops. It is learned that the deceased G Varadarajulu had approached the local cops to sort out an issue regarding setting up of his shop, along with his wife. He alleged that the police started beating him up instead of sorting out the issue or even listening to him.
