Prime Minister Narendra Modi held rallies at Bengaluru, Gulbarga and Bellary for the upcoming Karnataka polls. The PM attacked BJP's rival party, Congress and reportedly said that Karnataka can bear the summer heat, but not Congress rule.
Modi reportedly said, "This election will decide the future of Karnataka. It is about the security of women, the development of farmers. Do not assume this is only about electing MLAs. It is much more than that."
He accused the Congress party of not respecting the sacrifices of Indian soldiers during the surgical strike in 2016. He urged the people to vote keeping in mind the future of the state. He also assured that the Modi-led central government will work for the betterment of Karnataka.
