The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has reportedly decided to submit photo and video evidences of bulls being “tortured” during jallikattu events that took place in January and February this year to the Supreme Court in a move to ensure that jallikattu is permanently banned. PETA alleges that they have video evidence of jallikattu rules being flouted and bulls being tortured in the arena.
