According to reports, people in Gujarat’s Vadodara tied a BJP councillor to a tree and beat him. Encroachment houses in the slum area were demolished and the resident were built new houses. However, they complained about the poor quality of the newly built houses and tied the BJP councillor named Hasmukh Patel and beat him. Police were informed about the incident and they rescued the councillor, say reports.
