Pakistan pop singer Rabi Pirzada, who earlier posted a video of herself with reptiles threatening India Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the abrogation of article370, is now facing legal action for petting exotic animals.
The Punjab Wildlife Protection and Parks Department has initiated legal action against Pirzada for keeping exotic animals at her beauty salon. The department has also presented a challan against her in a local court in Lahore for violating the Wildlife Act.
In the video, Pirzada was seen cradling a python while a few snakes and an alligator were seen slithering on the floor. “As a Kashmir girl, I am ready with these snakes to gift it to PM Narendra Modi. All my friends are however peace friendly,” she said as quoted by Deccan Chronicle before singing a song to express her solidarity towards the people of Kashmir.
The Narendra Modi led BJP Government, on August 15, nullified articles 370 and 35(A) of the Indian Constitution which extended some special provisions to Jammu and Kashmir.
