After over a year since reports about OYO acquiring rival Zo Rooms began, the deal has been officially called off by OYO on Friday. In a statement to the media on Friday, OYO reportedly stated that “We can now confirm that OYO has ended all discussions on the matter”. Zo Rooms has reportedly responded to this stating that OYO is acting in bad faith by terminating all discussions and that it will take the necessary steps to protect its interests.
