Over 213 people were reportedly killed, while as many as 80,000 have been relocated due to the massive floods in Gujarat. Further, around 4,000 animals were also killed in flood, with an estimate of over a million households and farmlands being affected. Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi recently assured relief operations were being carried out on a massive scale in the flood-affected areas.
