'I did all this, what can I do?' These were the lines that 20-year-old Sunil Basura allegedly kept repeating in front of a police officer during interrogation. Basura, who is a paedophile, reportedly did not have any shame as he responded to every question while maintaining eye-contact with the cops.

The remorseless serial rapist-cum-killer would nonchalantly walk into religious community kitchens from where he would pick up minors aged between 3-8 and lure them with a Rs 10 note or a chocolate.

In order to determine the extent of his crime, the police on Wednesday dug deep into all complaints regarding missing girls below 10 years of age. Basura has allegedly confessed to having raped and killed 3 girls in Gurugram in the past two years, 4 in Delhi and 1 each in Jhansi and Gwalior.

As per the transcripts of the interrogation accessed by Times of India, Sunil told police that he raped all the minor girls at least twice before killing and disfiguring them.

Claiming that he was an alcoholic, Basura only targeted minor girls who would not be able to clearly inform their parents, in case any of them remain alive. However, he made sure that none of them lived.
