A 23-year-old fashion stylist has alleged that an Ola cab driver harassed and molested her on Sunday night on the Ring Road in south-east Bengaluru. The driver suddenly stopped at a deserted spot and started to touch her legs, she alleged. The man also allegedly engaged child lock to trap the girl in the car. He let her go after she warned and tried to damage his car, she reportedly added. She also reportedly said that she ran a few metres to find an auto rickshaw. While the ride-hailing company reportedly said the man was suspended, the woman slammed the company saying, “He was rated 4.9 on the app. What is the company doing to ensure women who use the service are safe?”
