In yet another shocking incident, a tribal man from Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district carried his 3-year-old dead son on Saturday as he was unable to bribe a hearse driver. The man carried the dead body to a nearby bus stand to take it to his village in a public vehicle. Locals arranged an ambulance to help the man take his son’s body. However, he carried the body for almost 1.5 km before the ambulance arrived. Medical Superintendent Narendra Nath Soren reportedly said that he was unaware of the incident and assured of disciplinary action against the hearse driver if found guilty.
