Days after the prices of non-subsidised liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) were increased, there is a good news for all consumers as the price of LPG cylinder has been reduced.
The reduction took place from March 1 on Sunday. According to Business Standard report, the price of 14.2 kg non-subsidised LPG cylinder in Delhi will be Rs 805.50, Mumbai-Rs 776.50, Kolkata- Rs 839.50 and Chennai Rs 826, respectively and this reduction will be effective from March 1.
Highlighting about the subsidy for 12 refills of 19 kg cylinder; the new prices in Delhi will be Rs 1,381, for Mumbai it will be Rs 1,331, Kolkata -Rs 1,450 and Chennai the revised price is Rs 1501 respectively.
The reduction on these prices comes days after oil minister Dharmendra Pradhan said the prices may come down in March. Further clarifying on the hike, he added that the hike in February was due to the international market.
The price of non-subsidised LPG cylinders was increased by Rs 144.50 in all metro cities in February while non-subsidised LPG cylinder prices had gone up by Rs 220.
