NO PASSPORT FOR BUREAUCRATS FACING CRIMINAL OR CORRUPTION CHARGES: GOVT

The Personnel Ministry has finalised new guidelines which say vigilance clearance will be denied for government officers facing criminal or corruption charges, say reports. However, the concerned authorities can take a call in case such officers need to visit a foreign country due to an extremely urgent situation, the Ministry said in the set of guidelines issued on Wednesday.
