While passing a judgment for sexual assault of a 9-year-old girl by a man called Ram, a High Court in Delhi reportedly said, “No one can touch a woman without her consent.” The Court also said that it is unfortunate that women are still being victimised for the act of "lecherous and sexually- pervert" men. The court also said that women’s privacy is not being recognised by men and men don’t think twice before satisfying their lust through helpless girls. Ram was sentenced to five years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 was imposed on him.
