NIPAH VIRUS: TAKE SPECIAL PRECAUTION WHILE CONSUMING MANGOES, SAYS DELHI GOVT

Though no suspected cases have been reported in the national capital in the wake of the spread of Nipah virus in Kerala, the Delhi government has issued an advisory asking people to be cautious.
The government has asked people to not consume raw date palm sap more commonly known as toddy and urged them to take special precaution when it comes to consuming mangoes that have fallen off trees.
The advisory has further asked people to not go in for self-medication.
