A speeding SUV hit school children in Muzaffarpur district, Patna, killing nine and injuring ten on Saturday. Allegedly, the students were from Dharampur Madhya Vidyalaya and were waiting to cross the road after their classes had ended. The driver reportedly abandoned his vehicle and ran away to save himself. According to reports, it is claimed that the vehicle belongs to BJP leader Manoj Baitha. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav also confirmed the claims and said, "The vehicle has a BJP board attached to it and the driver was drunk at the time of the incident. BJP leaders are totally drunk in power." However, other BJP members denied the accusations and claimed of not knowing such a person at all.
