A mobile video of a 60-year-old woman getting shot in Uttar Pradesh was filmed by her neighbours on Thursday. The incident occurred at a closely packed neighbourhood in Kasganj. A man shoots the woman twice in the video with a country- made pistol. The sad part is that the video was shot by her neighbours living in the adjacent building who did not reach out to help her.
The one-minute long video shows the man threatening the 60-year-old woman. She first tries to run off into her house but she gets shot. Even when she fell on the ground and whimpered in pain, the neighbors did not step down to help. The shooter fixed his gun again and took another shot.
According to media reports from NDTV, the accused named Monu has been arrested along with another man who sheltered him after the incident. The reasons behind the killing is unclear at this point. The police told NDTV that the woman’s neighbours who filmed the murder will face legal action.
