FACT CHECK: ANOTHER 'COMPLETE LOCKDOWN' FROM SEPTEMBER 25? - WHAT GOVT SAYS? CHECK DETAILS

The total number of cases have reached a new high of 4.93 million, and the country has reported over 80,776 deaths. Under these circumstances, a speculation regarding another strict lockdown period for 46 days starting from September 25 has been going around on the internet.
A claim regarding an order having been issued by the National Disaster Management Authority on re-imposing a nation-wide lockdown has been spreading wildly on Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
It read, “In order to contain the spread of COVID-19 and decrease the Mortality rate in the country, the National Disaster Management Authority along with the Planning Commission hereby urges the Government of India and directs the Prime Minister Office, Ministry of Home Affairs to re-impose a strict Nation-wide lockdown of 46 days starting from Midnight 25th September 2020.”
However, this order circular is fake and the National Disaster Management Authority has clarified that no such order has been issued. The ruling party has also tweeted to clarify the same.
