The truth emerged when cops enquiring the case found discrepancies in her statements. The teen claimed that an unidentified man entered her house and strangulated and also said that she had been receiving threats on social media, which were later found to be false, reported the Hindustan Times. However, there has been no clarification about the action taken against the teen.
