Babasaheb Umap would not have expected to see a small plane crash killing five on Thursday afternoon in Mumbai. What he witnessed was not just a crash, he saw something horrifying - something that could scar his memories forever.
Umap saw the plane's blade hit a pedestrian's head. He witnessed fire erupting as fuel gushed everywhere from the plane. Umap reportedly said, "All I remember is seeing his brain and eyes pop out of his body and he was burning. But, before we could save him, there was fuel all around. We couldn’t do anything, which is why we quickly called the police and the ambulance."
The man who fell victim to the blade was identified as Govind Dubey. Reportedly a mobile broken to pieces and a measuring tape were all that could be made out next to Dubey's body.
The accident took place in Ghatkopar, Mumbai when a chartered aircraft crashed into a construction site on Thursday afternoon taking the lives of five. Luckily, all the workers were out for lunch and hence a major catastrophe was averted.
