WHERE ARE AIRPORT-LIKE RAILWAY STATIONS GOING TO COME?

Railway stations looking a la airports might be a familiar sight in a few countries such as America but looks like India is well on its way to achieving this feat. According to reports, Madhya Pradesh's Habibganj and Gujarat's Gandhi Nagar stations will be the country's first two state-of-the-art "airport-like" stations. Habibganj is to be inaugurated in December 2018 while Gandhi Nagar's grand entrance is ear-marked for January 2019. Both stations are currently undergoing a revamp as part of the centre's ambitious Re 1 crore station redevelopment program to speed up the modernisation of the Indian Railways.
