Months before becoming father, Sepoy from TN killed in Kashmir

During the anti-military operations in Shopian’s Awneera cillage, Ilayaraja, a 24-year-old Sepoy from Tamil Nadu’s Sivagangai district was killed. He was reportedly among the two soldiers who were killed during the encounter. He was married before 11 months and his wife is 4 months pregnant, reported The News Minute. The corporeal remains were reportedly buried at Ilayaraja's agricultural land in his native village. The Government of Tamil Nadu has promised the family Rs.20 lakh as ex gratia.
